President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has expressed his hope that the United States under President-elect Barack Obama would play a proactive role in achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East and also work to reinforce security and stability in the Gulf region.

 Sheikh Khalifa's speech on World Blood Donor Day

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has urged blood donors to continue to perform their honourable act on regular basis and stressed the need for continuing voluntary non-remunerated blood donation.
