Tawazun, the investment company recently created by the Offset Program Bureau (OPB), is set to announce a package of new projects in defense, industry, and commercial sectors, according to Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri.

Dolphin Energy awards US$418 million construction contract for Taweelah Fujairah gas pipeline Posted on 23/07/2008
Dolphin Energy Limited announced yesterday the award of the construction contract for its new Taweelah to Fujairah Gas Pipeline (TFP) across the UAE to Stroytransgaz PJSC of Russia. Site work will begin during third quarter 2008.
The new gas pipeline will be 48 inches in diameter. It is to be laid over an environmentally approved cross-country route, through more than 240 kilometres of desert and mountainside - one of the longest and largest overland pipelines in the UAE.

Dolphin Energy to fence key sections of Al Ain to Fujairah pipeline Posted on 09/07/2008
Dolphin Energy announced Tuesday that work is about to begin to fence key sections of its Al Ain to Fujairah Gas Pipeline (AFP). The contract for $19.1m has been awarded to Al Husam General Contracting Establishment of Abu Dhabi, who will erect fencing along more than 100 kilometres of the 184 kilometre pipeline, a company press release said today.

Dolphin Energy to run EGDS network Posted on 18/06/2008
Dolphin Energy Limited will run for 25-years Adnoc's Eastern Gas Distribution System (EGDS) in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, after a lease agreement has been signed here yesterday.
This well-established pipeline network will be managed by Dolphin Energy for 25 years. The EGDS is currently used to supply gas to ADNOC's customers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and will be leased by Dolphin to deliver the company's processed gas from Qatar to customers across the UAE, and shortly to Oman.

Dolphin seeks more natural gas from Qatar Posted on 31/05/2008
Dolphin Energy is negotiating with Qatar for a possible expansion of natural gas supplies to meet an expected increase in demand by its clients in the UAE and Oman, according to the company's chief executive.
Ahmed Al Sayegh said Dolphin would provide both countries with 56.6 million cubic metres of natural gas per day through its subsea pipeline but its capacity is 60 per cent higher.

Dolphin Energy Limited has issued a statement, further to the appearance of a Dolphin Energy maintenance advertisement. Dolphin Energy Limited will undertake a routine maintenance and inspection program for the Stream 1 facilities of the Dolphin gas processing plant and one production platform in Qatar during the first quarter of 2009.
