Art sculpture ‘Tolerance’ unveiled in Abu Dhabi

T.O.L.E.R.A.N.C.E., the first permanent public art sculpture created for Abu Dhabi, was unveiled in front of the Amiri Court of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince recently. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Mohammed Anwar Gargash yesterday opened the "Collectors from the Emirates" exhibition of rare Swiss timepieces at the Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi. A musical play by Maestro Abdul Halim Caracalla will held to celebrate the UAE's 37th National Day in the capital, said an official. A series of concerts dedicated to the late Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish, featuring his friend and collaborator Marcel Khalife, drew large crowds over the weekend, with the money raised pledged to Palestinian children's charities.
